ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health Services provides several routine vaccines to students. Below is an overview of the available immunizations, fees, and payment options:

Immunizations Offered | Insurance and Payment | Alternative Vaccine Locations | Vaccine Clinics |        Tuberculosis Testing

Immunizations Offered:
  • Meningitis (Menveo ACWY): $120
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): $90
  • Tetanus (Tdap): $40
  • Oral Typhoid: Approximately $80 (can be ordered upon request)

Note: ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Health Services does not carry the HPV, Hepatitis A, or Hepatitis B vaccines.

Insurance and Payment:
  • Students with ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's UnitedHealthcare insurance:
  • The charge will be billed to the insurance, with no charge to the student.

Students with other insurance:

  • The student will pay the vaccine fee at Health Services (via tuition account, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø debit card, or cash).
  • After paying, students can submit the receipt to their insurance or medical spending account for reimbursement.
Alternative Vaccine Locations:
  • Some common vaccines (like the flu or COVID-19 vaccines) can also be administered at local pharmacies such as CVS or Walgreens using your health insurance.
  • We recommend calling ahead to discuss available options as online scheduling may not list all available choices.
Flu and COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics:
  • Each Fall semester, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø hosts large flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine clinics, staffed by an outside organization.
Tuberculosis Testing:
  • Tuberculosis Skin Testing (TST), also known as PPD testing, is required for certain travel, internships, or employment in healthcare or childcare settings.
  • Available for $10.00
  • Requires 2 visits:
  1. Initial visit for the test
  2. Follow-up visit for interpretation of results (2-3 days later)
  • Blood Test Screening (Quantiferon Gold Test):
  • This blood test is also available for tuberculosis screening and can be discussed during an appointment.

Note: Students can view their PPD results in their Health Services Portal.
