Injectable Medication Assistance for Students
All active students are eligible to receive assistance with injectable medication administration intended for self-administration. Students may receive up to four nurse visits for teaching and guidance on how to self-administer injectable medication. With each visit, student participation in the medication administration process will gradually increase, with the ultimate goal of enabling students to self-administer independently. If additional support is needed, students will be referred to appropriate resources.
To receive nurse assistance and training, students should have their healthcare provider complete the Injectable Medication Order form.
The completed form can be faxed to Health Services at 518-580-5556 or uploaded to the student health portal.
