Costs and aid

2024-25 costs

$67,140 tuition and fees; $10,610 dorm, double room; and $7,330 meals

Financial aid

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø annually provides over $70 million in financial aid. 52% of students received need-based grants, while 55% of students receive some form of financial aid. We also offer two limited (~30 students) merit awards in music and science-math. 

Curriculum

Program

Four-year private, nondenominational, coeducational, liberal arts curriculum offering Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees

Majors

40+. Most popular are business, psychology, English, economics, political science, studio art, and environmental sciences/studies

Minors

Most majors have corresponding minors. Minors are also available in arts administration; Black studies; Chinese; entrepreneurship; intergroup relations (IGR); Italian; Japanese; Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx studies; media and film studies, and statistics.

Cooperative programs

Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy with Sage Graduate School; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.), New York University College of Nursing; Engineering Dual-Degree Program with Dartmouth College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; Early Assurance Program, Albany Medical College4 + 1 Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) Program with Clarkson University; 4 + 1 MBA Program with Clarkson University and Rochester Institute of Technology); and 4 + 1 Master of Science in Accountancy (M.S.A.) Program with Wake Forest University.

Off-campus study

More than 50% of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students study abroad at some point during their college years. Students can choose from 120 programs in 45 countries, including ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø-run programs in England, France, New Zealand and Spain.

Location

Saratoga Springs, New York, a city of 30,000 located 30 miles from Albany, New York state’s capital, and a three-hour drive from New York City, Boston and Montreal

Setting

More than 1,200 tree-lined acres providing a beautifully landscaped, personal experience. 

Facilities

All classes take place on campus and about 90% of students live on campus. 

Sustainability

37% of campus buildings are geothermally heated and cooled; 20% of campus electricity is powered by the combination of our own solar field (9%) and hydroelectric dam (11%). Completion of the new Center for Integrated Sciences (CIS) is expected to increase geothermal heating and cooling to 45%.

All students and alumni have lifetime access to the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Career Development Center.

Student research

Annually, nearly 500 students (20% of the student body) engage in independent or professional-level research with a faculty mentor.

Internships

85% of students complete an internship during their ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø career (75% more than one).
