Semester Breaks

All letter mail and packages will remain during winter and spring breaks.

Mail received over the summer break is handled in the following manner:

  • All First Class mail will be forwarded to the address on record.
  • Standard mail is not eligible for forwarding and is discarded.
  • Packages are returned to the sender as they cannot be forwarded. 
  • All periodicals (newspapers, magazines and similar publications) will be discarded, as they cannot be forwarded.
  • Be sure to contact the publisher 4–6 weeks before the end of the semester to permit uninterrupted service.
  • If you are remaining on campus for any duration of the summer, your mailbox will remain open.
  • If you are staying in the local area and would like your mailbox to remain open, please email the Post Office with the dates and your mailbox number.

Permanent address change

If you are leaving ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø permanently and need to change the address on record, please contact the Registrar’s Office.
