SCOOP Rock & River
Some of you may have already experienced the many adventures that the outdoors have to offer. Others of you may be waiting for the chance. Well here it is! Join us for rock climbing, hiking and whitewater rafting adventure! These trips are open to anyone whether you have had experience or not. Trips are guided by experienced, licensed guides and upper-class peer leaders. The trip includes rock-climbing instruction, a beautiful hike and a whitewater rafting trip, as well as an introduction to life at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. Hanging out under the stars around the campfire will provide the perfect setting for getting to know fellow incoming students and working on leadership skills.
Although this program is open to beginners, it is for those who have a healthy sense
of adventure, a respect for the outdoors and a desire to challenge themselves. We
will be camping at Camp Fowler roughly a 20 minute walk to the main facilities at
Camp Fowler in Speculator, New York. Come and play with us in the Adirondacks!

Day 1: Sign in for your program at 12:30 Porter Plaza and depart for Camp Fowler at 1:15
- Arrive at Camp Fowler around 3:00
- Ice Breakers
- 6:00 Dinner
- 7:00 Surprise event
- 10:00 Bonfire and S’mores
Day 2: 8am Breakfast
- Rock Climbing and Hiking

- Bon fire/bonding
Day 3:
- Breakfast
- A day of Whitewater Rafting on the Hudson
- 6:00 Dinner
- Chill
- Fire Pit
Day 4:
- Breakfast load buses back to Skid with your new friends!!!!!
