Dates
The dates for the program will differ from ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø academic calendar. Below
you will find the proposed dates for the upcoming semester. Please note that the dates
are tentative and could change.
Students should not book any airfare until they are told by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Program Manager
and/or Frontiers Abroad.
Spring 2025 (*TENTATIVE and subject to change*)
Arrival: January 20, 2025
Field camp begins: January 21, 2025
Last day of finals: June 21, 2025
Earth Systems Track
Arrival: January 22, 2025
Field camp begins: January 23, 2025
Last day of finals: June 21, 2025
Departure: June 22, 2025
Rediscovering New Zealand Track
Last day of finals: June 21, 2025
Note #1: Traveling to New Zealand (all students will arrive in Christchurch) can take two
calendar days so please double check your arrival date in New Zealand. For instance,
you might need to leave NYC on the 18th of January to arrive on the 20th of January
in Christchurch.
Note #2: Finals at University of Canterbury can end before the published last day of finals
but you should not plan to leave early until you confirm your final schedule.
