Stratifi Web App
The Stratifi Web App is designed to assist researchers and agricultural practitioners with designing soil sampling campaigns. The app uses Weka Kmeans clustering with a variety of geospatial variables to apply stratified random samples to a given study area.
You may draw your own study area by hand or upload your own. To create a custom GeoJSON from an existing spatial file (.shp or .kml), use this free OGRE , making sure that your file is projected to WGS84. If you have a Google Earth Engine account, you may also upload a shapefile to your assets, make the asset sharing 'Anyone can read', and then copy the asset id (e.g. 'users/yourUserName/study_area').

Stratified random sampling using Weka Kmeans clustering and freely available remote sensing products from Google Earth Engine. Designed for the Continental United States. Vegetation Indices derived from Sentinel 2 (ESA), Physical Indices from 3DEP (USGS), Soil Indices from POLARIS, GSSURGO (USGS), and SoilGrids (ISRIC).
Designed to operate across the globe at courser resolutions than the CONUS version. Stratified random sampling using Weka Kmeans clustering and freely available remote sensing products from Google Earth Engine. Vegetation Indices derived from Landsat and MODIS (USGS/NASA), Physical Indices from SRTM (NASA), Soil Indices from SoilGrids (ISRIC).
