Graduates of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s anthropology program should be able to draw on anthropological information and ideas to address the complexities of the following questions:

In the course of their studies, anthropology students will acquire the following skills:

  • Use anthropological concepts and ideas to think critically, challenge cultural generalizations and stereotypes, and productively engage cultural difference. (Ib, IIa, IId, IIIc, IIId, IVa)
  • Understand contemporary anthropology in the light of its history. (Ia, Ic, IIb, IIIb)
  • Employ methods of data collection, conduct data analysis, and write evidence-based reports and papers. (IIb, IIc, IIIc)
  • Employ theoretical concepts in writing. (IIc, IIIc, IIId)
  • Follow the writing conventions in anthropology. (IIc, IIe)
  • Integrate visual information in papers and reports. (IIb, IIc, IIIc)
