Best in Show, Schick Art Gallery Prize from the 2006 ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Student Exhibition
Exhibition juror Fred Wilson selected 77 works from 194 pieces submitted for consideration.
All of the original paintings, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, prints, photographs,
graphic design, installation, metals and mixed media works on display were created
by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students in 2005. A total of 88 students entered works; 60 are represented
in the show. Wilson also selected eleven awards for outstanding work, which were announced
at the opening reception. These prizes were funded through donations made by friends
of the gallery, campus organizations, and community businesses. A complete list of winners is posted in the gallery along with a juror's statement.
