2005 ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Student Exhibition

 

Guest juror of this year's exhibition is John Weber, Dayton Director of the Tang Teaching Museum, who selected 51 works from 176 pieces submitted for consideration. All of the paintings, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, prints, photographs, and mixed media works on display were created by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students in 2004. A total of 87 students entered works; 39 are represented in the show. Weber also selected a number of awards for outstanding work. These prizes are funded through donations made by friends of the gallery, campus organizations, and community businesses. A complete list of winners will be posted in the in the gallery along with a juror's statement.

Weber came to the Tang from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, where he served as curator of education and public programs since 1993. He assumed his new position in October 2004, directing the Tang Museum's curatorial and education programs, planning, and administration.
