Yubo HouJason BrevesJason Breves, associate professor and chair of biology, Yubo Hou, lecturer of biology, Katie Puterbaugh '23, Serena Bradley '23, Annie Hageman '23, Adrian Verspyck '22, Lydia Shaw '22, and Elizabeth Danielson '23 co-authored an article, “Molecular targets of prolactin signaling in mummichogs (Fundulus heteroclitus): ion transporters/channels, aquaporins, and claudins” in the journal .  

Joseph CermatoriJoseph Cermatori, assistant professor of English, participated in a virtual book launch webinar for his book “Baroque Modernity: An Aesthetics of Theater” (Johns Hopkins University Press: 2021) on April 26. A roundtable of scholars, including Matthew Buckley (Rutgers University), Rebecca Schneider (Brown University), and Matthew Wilson Smith (Stanford University), offered responses to the book. The book's editor, Douglas Mao (Johns Hopkins University), moderated the panel. A is available online. 

Veena ChandraVeena Chandra, private music instructor, performed “The love between us” by Reena Esmail at Ithaca College with full orchestra and choir. 

 

Ruth Hernandez RiosRuth M. Hernández-Ríos, teaching professor of sociology, was selected as scholar-in-residence at Wabash College, where she will work on a book manuscript, tentatively titled “Rompiendo Fronteras: Mexican Family Reunification in the Age of Deportation” during the 2022-2023 academic year. 

Bernardo Ramirez RiosBernardo Ramirez Rios, assistant professor of anthropology, authored a submission for Latino Studies titled "" for the digital database . 

 

Rachel SeligmanSarah GoodwinSarah Goodwin, professor of English emerita, Rachel Seligman, assistant director for curatorial affairs and , and other faculty were recently honored by the Association of Art Museum Curators with a 2022 Award for Excellence for the Tang exhibition catalogue “Like Sugar.”  Catalogue editors and lead curators of the exhibition, Goodwin and Seligman with designer Barbara Glauber of Heavy Meta. Curatorial collaborators on the project were Associate Professor of Environmental Studies and Sciences Nurcan Atalan-Helicke, Teaching Professor of Art Trish Lyell, and Associate Professor of Biology Monica Raveret Richter. Contributors to the catalogue also include Tang Dayton Director Ian Berry, Associate Professor of History Erica Bastress-Dukehart, Senior Lecturer  Geosciences Jennifer Cholnoky, Professor of History Jordana Dym, Professor of Mathematics Mark Hoffman, and Maya Formisano-Neuhoff '21.
