Emmanuel Balogun, assistant professor of political science, was a special guest on the and provided analysis on how African regional organizations are responding to recent coups in West Africa. He also gave a talk on his forthcoming book, 鈥�,鈥� as part of the Global Politics Seminar Series at Northern Illinois University.

Corey R. Freeman-Gallant, professor of biology, co-authored a paper, 鈥�,鈥� in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. 

Susannah Mintz, professor of English, discussed her new book, 鈥淟ove Affair in the Garden of Milton,鈥� on the WAMC Northeast Public Radio podcast .   

Rodrigo Schneider, assistant professor of economics, and Peter von Allmen, David H. Porter Chair and professor of economics, co-authored a paper with Garrett Munck 鈥�21, 鈥�,鈥� in the Economics of Governance.The research, which provides insights into policies related to participation in the winter games, including the games in Beijing, originated as part of Munck鈥檚 undergraduate economics thesis in spring 2020. 

Marketa Wolfe, associate professor of economics, co-authored the article 鈥�,鈥� in The Conversation. The article has been picked up by dozens of media outlets nationwide.
