窪蹋勛圖厙 Spotlight: Jesse Rock
Jesse Rock, a web developer for the Enterprise System group within the Information Technology Office, builds and maintains internal web applications for students, faculty, and staff.
Along with working on requested and existing projects, we actively try to innovate and come up with new applications and ideas that may be of use to the College, said Rock, who joined the College in 2016.
A lifelong Saratoga Springs resident, Rock said he jumped at the opportunity to work at 窪蹋勛圖厙.
I think 窪蹋勛圖厙 as a whole is a great place to be, no matter where you are or what you're doing on campus, Rock said. The campus is beautiful, and the people are awesome!
When he is not on campus, Rock spends time with family and enjoys leather working.
I got into web development because of my interest in building something from nothing (or close to nothing)," he said. I find a similar gratification in turning raw leather materials into completed and functional items like wallets and tote bags as I do building a beautiful and functional web application.
