Barbara Black, professor of English, has published a new book, “” (The Ohio State University Press), which examines Victorian London’s grand hotels
as both an institution and a culture intimately connected to the urban landscape.
Sarah DiPasquale and Jason Ohlberg, assistant professors of dance, presented research at two conferences, the National
Dance Educators Organization (NDEO) annual conference in Miami and the International
Association of Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) annual conference in Montreal. Their
work “Periodization in Practice” detailed research in planning and implementing phasic
training schedules into the Dance Department curriculum during performance weeks as
a means of potential injury reduction and improved performance.
