Faculty-Staff Achievements
Diana Barnes, senior teaching professor of Spanish, with her son, Bryson Barnes of the Manhattan Composers Collective. It is their second immigration podcast and the outcome of a faculty development grant that funded her trip to Nogales, Mexico. Also, Barnes will speak at a Saratoga Democratic Committee event June 23 at Saratoga Casino Hotel.
A book by Jeromy McFarren, senior program coordinator for summer academics, will be reviewed in the June issue of Story Monsters Ink magazine. “October Jones: The Lightning Pines” was originally published in December 2017.
Matt Wilt, associate professor of art, will present an upcoming solo exhibition. “Hand/Eye” will be on display at Lab Gallery in Brentwood, Maryland, from June 3 to Aug. 10.
