Regina Janes
Regina Janes, professor of English, recently published "Gabriel GarcÃa Márquez: Politics and Death across His Life of Writing," in Gabriel GarcÃa Márquez in Retrospect: A Collection (Lexington Books, 2016); "Edmund Burke: The Man with Too Many Countries" in Studies in Burke and His Time 25 (2015); and "Amelia on Trial," in Approaches to Teaching the Novels of Henry Fielding (Modern Language Association of America, 2015). In Scriblerian (2016), she reviewed works by Arno Loffler, Mascha Hansen, Noriyuki Harada, Daniel Mulhall, Claude Rawson, and James Woolley. Her review of Heads Will Roll: Decapitation in the Medieval and Early Modern Imagination, appeared in Medieval Review in 2014.
Bob Turner
Bob Turner, associate professor of environmental studies, was quoted in a Dec. 15 Daily Gazette article titled "." Turner is chairman of the Saratoga Springs Charter Review Commission, which unanimously
voted to create a new charter to change the city's form of government.

Evan Mack
Evan Mack, professor of music, was cited in a Dec. 28 Times Union story titled "." Mack composed the score to the opera Roscoe: A Grand American Opera, based on a novel by William Kennedy. The opera had its debut by the Albany Symphony
Orchestra at Albany's Palace Theatre in October.
