Linda Motzkin, Jewish chaplain, has an exhibition titled “Sacred Scraps: Works by Rabbi Linda Motzkin,” at the Spring Street Gallery in Saratoga Springs from June 8 to Aug. 8, 2014. An opening reception is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. June 8. Read more here.

Dan Nathan, associate professor and chair, Department of American Studies, is the author of published in the Journal of American History 2014, Vol. 101, No. 1, a publication of Oxford Journals.

Denise L. Smith, professor of health and exercise sciences, is an author of “Deployment of Remote Advanced Electrocardiography for Improved Cardiovascular Risk Assessment in Career Firefighters,” published in Telemedicine and e-Health, Vol. 20, No. 7, 2014. The paper was written in collaboration with members of the Physiological Health Assessment System for Emergency Responders (PHASER) Study Group from UCLA. The study was sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate.

Mason Stokes, associate professor and chair, Department of English, is the author of an opinion essay published in The Chronicle of Higher Education May 29, 2014.
