husband and aspiring comic Joel Maisel who, as fans of the show know, turns out to
be nowhere near as marvelous as she.
While Zegen plays a hopeful comic in the show, in real life he's has been honing his

The Sketchies and performed in the , founded in 1989 by another alum, David Miner '91 (Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Master of None).
In , Zegen shared that "I've always been acting. Since I was a little kid, I've always
wanted to be an actor." Today, there's no doubt he's made those dreams come true.
