Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation Professor in Buddhist Studies (term expired in 2023-24)

Established through a grant from the Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation, the Robert
H.N. Ho Family Foundation Professor was created to develop and establish a new tenure-track
position in Buddhist Studies. The Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation Professor will
be a joint appointment between the Religious Studies department and the Asian Studies
program and would be responsible for contributing to both academic units, with certain
courses specifically devoted to Buddhist Studies. The Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation
Professor would join an institution committed to the study of Asia and religion not
just within the curriculum but within the co-curricular as well. The inaugural Robert
H.N. Ho Family Foundation Professor will be begin in the 2017-2018 academic year.
