2025 President's Awards for Leadership and Service 

‌This year’s President's Awards for Leadership and Service will go to students Alex Ciardullo ’25, Bridget Coyer ’25, Yemi Majiyagbe ’25, and Mbaye Seck ’25; faculty and staff Janet G. Casey, ‘Becca Johnson, Matt Lucas, Pushkala Prasad, and Mary Hoehn; and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Executive Board (team award). Student awards will be presented at the Student Leadership Awards event on April 23, and the faculty, staff, and team awards will be presented at the Retirement and Recognition event on May 20. President Conner extends his heartfelt thanks and congratulations to all recipients for their extraordinary service to ϳԹ.

‌SpringMore inaugural event 

‌Peer Health Educators and the Department of Health Promotion invite you to the first annual SpringMore event in front of McCaffery-Wagman Center from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 25. Enjoy live music, llamas, activities, ice cream, and more. 

‌Join the Workforce Team Challenge 

‌The Work Force Team Challenge will take place on Thursday, May 15, in Albany. Register online by Monday, May 5. To participate, select ϳԹ’s team and fill out the required information. Do not check out; ϳԹ’s team captain, Darren Drabek, will manage payments. ‌Out of the Darkness Walk

‌Stoles and Cords Celebration 

‌Join the Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion and other campus partners for the from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, in the Glotzbach Atrium of the Billie Tisch Center for Integrated Sciences. ‌Campus chill water system activation 

‌Facilities Services has begun the process of starting up the campus chill water system, which provides air conditioning for some campus buildings and should be ready in early May. The following buildings are affected: Bolton Hall, Palamountain Hall, Tisch Learning Center, Barrett Center, Ladd Hall, Case Center, Howe Rounds Hall, Wait Hall, one section of Jonsson Tower, Scribner Library, and Janet Kinghorn Bernhard Theater. 

‌Give+Go signups and donations ‌

‌Give+Go is an annual program designed to gather gently used goods left behind by students at the end of the year to bring to local and regional nonprofits. Starting April 28, students are invited to leave gently used donations at bins around campus. Sign up to volunteer for and during the . Contact Celia Darling with questions. 

‌Real ID deadline approaching

‌Starting May 7, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will require state-issued driver's licenses or identification cards that meet standards to board domestic flights. Travelers should check their driver’s license for the Real ID star and apply if needed. Or they may use a passport or another TSA-approved ID to travel. Contact Carol Schnitzer with questions.

ϳԹ Weekly Bulletin submission procedure

Help reduce bulk emails by posting your announcement in ϳԹ Weekly Bulletin, which is distributed to all students and employees. Submit announcements and eventslectures, panels, and other academic events; and faculty-staff achievements by completing the appropriate online form. The deadline for all submissions is noon on Monday. 

‌Fall textbook orders  ‌

‌Faculty should submit textbook and course material adoptions to Becky Mattison by Wednesday, April 30. For classes that do not require a textbook, contact her to be marked "No Text Required." More information has been shared via email.

‌Join the and Exchange Closet for a campus-wide clothing swap 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., through Friday, April 25. Refresh your wardrobe, donate clean and gently used clothes, or browse. Athletics News

Postseason play is starting for ϳԹ teams as the golf squad competes in the three-day Liberty League Championship at Turning Stone Friday through Sunday. It’s also the final week of the regular season for most teams with three in action at home on Saturday: Baseball will host Middlebury in a non-league doubleheader starting at noon; softball is home against St. Lawrence for two games starting at 1 p.m.; and men’s lacrosse will battle for playoff seeding against Ithaca at Wachenheim Field at 1 p.m. Stay up to date with results and schedules on the and by subscribing to the .
