2025 Citizens and Scholars Faculty Institute
‌Faculty are invited to apply for the — a professional development opportunity to facilitate complex classroom discussions, foster civil discourse, and enhance course design. The program includes a June 22-24 in-person gathering, an 18-month virtual learning community, and a stipend. Interested faculty should submit a 1-2 paragraph statement describing their interest. Applications are due to Eric Morser by Monday, April 21. Selected participants will be notified by May 2. Faculty should check email for additional details.

‌Protocol for federal law enforcement requests and campus visits ‌ ‌
As part of ºÚÁϳԹÏ꿉۪s ongoing efforts to provide community members with timely information related to recent federal action, the College has updated the Campus Safety website to include important guidance for responding to potential interactions with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), or other federal agencies. Campus Safety and campus partners have in place a campus-wide response plan to guide employees and students in the event of contact from federal agents. Information about the College’s protocol may be found online.‌

‌Athletic center closures
‌The Williamson Sports Center and McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center will be closed Sunday, April 20, and reopen Monday, April 21, with regular hours.

‌Real ID deadline approaching
‌Starting May 7, 2025, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will require state-issued driver's licenses or identification cards that meet standards to board domestic flights. Travelers should check their driver’s license for the Real ID star and apply if needed. Or they may use a passport or alternative TSA-approved ID to travel. Contact Carol Schnitzer with questions.

‌Stop by Case walkway from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, for a school-spirited snack and share what you love about ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. Charter Day, May 22, celebrates our collegiate charter and is a giving day to support today’s students and help shape our future. We’re kicking off early so students, faculty, and staff can join in.
