College of Saint Rose job fair 

‌In response to the closing of The College of Saint Rose, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø will be participating in a job fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, March 26-27, in the Massry Arts Center, 1002 Madison Ave., Albany. Hiring managers can meet and interview Saint Rose staff, faculty, students, and alumni from all departments. Those interested in participating should contact Jude Klein by Friday, March 22.

Test of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Urgent Notification System (SUNS) 

‌Emergency communications through the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Urgent Notification System (SUNS) will be tested at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26. At that time, tests of the alert system will be sent via text message, email, and voicemail to all students, faculty, and staff registered with SUNS. An alert test banner will also appear at the top of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø homepage and on digital signage across campus. Campus community members who are not enrolled in SUNS may register here.

‌Moseley Lecture with Giuseppe Faustini 

‌Professor of Italian Giuseppe Faustini will deliver this year’s Edwin M. Moseley Faculty Lecture, “,’” at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 25, in Gannett Auditorium. The lecture will illustrate Dante's pictorial creativity and its impact on the visual and performing arts.

Call for nominations: President’s Awards for Leadership and Service ‌

‌The Office of the President invites community members to nominate deserving individuals or teams for a 2024 . Students, faculty members, exempt staff, non-exempt staff, or union personnel may be nominated (self-nominations will not be considered). To nominate a person or team, please and submit it via email or campus mail to the Office of the President by 4 p.m. Monday, March 25.

President’s office hours ‌ ‌ ‌

‌President Conner will hold office hours from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 4. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to request a 10-minute, in-person appointment. To register, please email presoff@skidmore.edu. Requests will be handled in the order that they are received.

‌Entrepreneurial Artist Forum 

‌The 11th Annual Entrepreneurial Artist Forum, “,” will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, at the Tang. Panelists include Tobi Ewing '15, Monica Steffey '19, Natalie Wilson '22, and Jamel Mosely, this year's Creative Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Dean Dorothy Mosby will open with remarks and Brian Vergara ’24 will moderate the discussion.

‌Friends of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Athletics is seeking to identify individuals who have made outstanding contributions to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Athletics and the College for induction into ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s Athletics Hall of Fame. Please submit your nomination online no later than Sunday, March 31.

Solar eclipse viewing glasses 

‌From approximately 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 8, the moon will block 98.2% of the sun in the sky above ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. To ensure everyone can safely enjoy the experience, the Office of Communications and Marketing is providing free ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø-branded eclipse glasses for the community. The glasses will be available for pickup from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 4, 5, and 8 outside of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Shop — while supplies last.

Four Thoroughbred teams will play at home this week: On Friday, baseball hosts Bard at 3 p.m. in its Liberty League opener. At noon on Saturday, the men’s lacrosse team opens league play against St. Lawrence and the softball team will host Oneonta in a doubleheader, and at 1 p.m. men’s tennis will play Brandeis at the program’s Stable Game.
