Admissions Discovery Tour
The Admissions Office invites campus offices and student groups to participate in the Discovery Tour, an accepted student's day program for the BIPOC student community. Our goal is to highlight campus resources for candidates considering 窪蹋勛圖厙, including academics, intercultural life, and student life, as well as the perspectives of current students. , to participate in our Resource Roundtable session from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, on the second floor of Murray-Aikins Dining Hall. Summer 2023 employment for students
Students interested in viewing and applying for summer jobs at 窪蹋勛圖厙 should visit and filter by summer. In some instances, students may be hired for more than one position. Both jobs must be part time, be paid in the same manner (hourly or salary), and together cannot exceed 40 hours in a work week. Governing in Congress: Talking Bipartisanship in the Midst of Polarization
Former U.S. Reps. William Flores (R-TX) and William Enyart (D-IL) will talk about how Congress functions and take questions from the audience from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, in Filene Auditorium. The pair are visiting 窪蹋勛圖厙 as part of the Congress to Campus program, which provides college students the opportunity to engage in dialogue with a bipartisan pair of former lawmakers. 窪蹋勛圖厙 Athletics will host a panel centered on allyship and the LGBTQ+ community from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 3, in Zankel Music Center. The event, which will also , will be moderated by Professor of American Studies Beck Krefting and feature panelists Katherine Almquist 24 (women's tennis), Coach Curt Speerschneider (womens tennis), Clare Kenny 15 (womens volleyball), Associate Professor of Sociology Amon Emeka, Executive Director of the Pride Center of the Capital Region Nathanial Gray, and Emily Czelusniak 25 (swimming and diving). SGA Equity in Products for Natural Hair Act resolution
The Student Government Association has approved a resolution that allocates $2,050 in funding to start a new program to provide natural hair products to students on campus at no cost for the spring 2023 semester. For more information, contact SGA.
Commencement regalia
Seniors should order their caps and gowns by today, March 22, for pickup on campus beginning April 25. Orders for home delivery must be placed by April 24. A limited number of caps and gowns will be available for purchase at the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Shop starting April 25.
