Why did you apply Early Decision?

I knew that I wanted a small liberal arts college in the Northeast. When I visited ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, its strong offerings in arts, science, and humanities caught my attention and stood out among other schools. The combination of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s welcoming community and brand-new science building, the Billie Tisch Center for Integrated Sciences, along with the opportunity to try new things, sold me. Also, location became more and more important, and Saratoga Springs is one of a kind.

Best part of college so far?

The opportunity to meet people and try new things a little out of my comfort zone, whether taking a history class as a physics major or attending club cultural events. Additionally, the off-campus options are great, whether taking a hike or eating in one of the amazing downtown restaurants.

Biggest surprise about college?

Realizing my ability to decide my own path forward and the opportunities for leadership. Academically, I’ve been surprised by the support I’ve received to combine two opposite fields and develop a true passion. I’ve also developed skills and gained first-hand experience as a leader in clubs and student government.

Advice on applying Early Decision?

Know what you want in a college and where you see yourself thriving, whether it’s academics, community, or location. Compare your options. Visit, attend information sessions, and speak with students to really learn about these institutions. If one speaks to you, visit again or attend another admissions event. If it still feels right, go for it — show your pride and ambition by applying Early Decision. That was the path I took, and I am beyond happy with my decision to be at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.

Something most people don’t know about you?

In my free time I love to cook and try new foods.

Post-ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø plans or dreams?

My dream job is to be an Imagineer at the Disney Company. Being able to create experiences that make people happy is a passion of mine. While I love Disney Parks, the job of creating rides and themed experiences is something I can see myself doing forever.
