Yelena Biberman-Ocakli, associate professor of political science, gave two talks on dual-use biotechnology and ran two wargames to gather data for her book project at the U.S. Naval War College (Ethics and Emerging Military Technology Program) in Newport, Rhode Island, and the U.S. Army War College (Department of Strategic Wargaming) in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Hajar Hussaini, visiting assistant professor of English, from the anthology (Guernica Editions, 2025). The anthology was on Sunday, April 6, at the Roshan Institute for Persian Studies at the University of Maryland and on Wednesday, February 26, at a at the University of Birmingham.

Bernardo Ramirez Rios, associate professor of anthropology and director of Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx studies, published "The Art of Fernando Valenzuela: Baseball and Chicanx Culture in California" in the book (University of Texas Press, 2025).

Mike Salisbury, environmental service technician, was the focus of a piece on Spectrum News, , about his work as a community DJ on 窪蹋勛圖厙s station WSPN 91.1 FM.

Rodrigo Schneider, associate professor of economics, co-authored a paper published in the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, , examining the relationship between natural disasters and increased voter support for authoritarian regimes.
