Opportunities for feedback: 2025-2030 Strategic Plan ‌

‌An open forum to discuss the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan draft will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, on the second floor of Murray-Aikins Dining Hall or via Zoom. A recording will be available following the event. President Marc C. Conner welcomes feedback during Strategic Planning office hours from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20; email presoff@skidmore.edu to register. ‌Camp Northwoods registration 

‌Online registration for , ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's summer day camp for children, opens for employees at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø community members receive priority and will be sent an email with specific instructions that morning. ‌EMS system unavailable during update 

‌T³ó±ð EMS system will be unavailable for use today, Wednesday, Feb. 5, while IT performs maintenance. During this time, users will be unable to book rooms or order catering, setup, or media services. Please contact the Scheduling Office with questions.

‌Kids Night Out

‌Kids ages 5 to 13 are invited to enjoy well-supervised recreational activities sponsored by the baseball team and provided by the great facilities of Williamson Sports Center 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday Feb. 7. ‌Dining Services requests that green ReuseMore containers be returned to the SPA in a timely manner. Containers will be reused and enable the program to keep reducing single-use plastic waste on campus. Contact John Winnek with questions.

‌Kenneth A. Freirich Entrepreneurship Competition 

‌T³ó±ð final round of 15th Annual Kenneth A. Freirich Entrepreneurship Competition will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, on the second floor of Murray-Aikins Dining Hall. ‌Summer Experience Fund applications open 

‌Applications for the Summer Experience Fund and Postgraduate Awards are due April 10. Stipends of $4,500 are awarded to support students completing unpaid internships, research assignments, community service projects, artist residencies, apprenticeships, and more. Experiences must be secured before applying. There is a minimum hour requirement to qualify. Contact Kristen Flynn with questions.

‌SEE-Beyond 2025 applications open 

‌SEE-Beyond's $6,000 award may be used to cover a summer stipend/salary, participation fees or tuition, travel expenses, and room and board for students pursuing a variety of summer opportunities (minimum eight weeks/320 hours), including research, internships, artistic residencies, and more. ‌April youth sports camp

‌Children ages 5-14 can are invited to , where they will participate in a variety of sports with current ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø student-athletes from 9 a.m. to noon, April 14 through April 18 at Williamson Sports Center. ‌T³ó±ð risk of slipping, tripping, and falling increases dramatically during winter months. Stay safe this season and review these to prevent slips, trips, and falls. Please inform Facilities or Campus Safety of hazardous conditions on campus unless during an active winter storm. Plan ahead and use caution during winter storms while Facilities attends to snow and ice removals.

Help reduce bulk emails by posting your announcement in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Weekly Bulletin, which is distributed to all students and employees. Submit announcements and eventslectures, panels, and other academic events; and faculty-staff achievements by completing the appropriate online form. The deadline for all submissions is noon on Monday.

Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day with men’s ice hockey ‌ 

T‌his Friday, Feb. 7, marks the men’s ice hockey’s first Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day; Faculty and Staff are invited to enjoy coffee or hot cocoa at the City of Saratoga Springs Ice Rink, before joining the team in the locker room for a reading of the starting lineup. Admission to the game is free. Those interested in joining the starting lineup reading should meet under the scoreboard at 6:40 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m. Email Megan Buchanan with questions.

‌A‌nother exciting weekend for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Athletics

‌Men’s hockey is home for the second straight weekend as it hosts Albertus Magnus College for a pair of NEHC tilts at the Saratoga City Rink. Friday’s game, which is Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night, begins at 7 p.m., while the series finale is slated for 4 p.m. on Saturday. Spring sports are also starting: Women’s tennis is back in action this weekend opening at (Division I) University at Buffalo on Saturday before opening the Liberty League schedule Sunday at Ithaca College.
